I don’t know how to be here
Without you
Nothing is the same.
Hear their voices swirl around me
Happy, cheerful.
Doesn’t take away the emptiness
I feel
All alone
In a room full of people.
My presence like a black hole
In contrast to
The sunshine you always brought.
Tears flow like a floodgate open
Useless drops
Won’t bring you back.
